Redditor - the perfect client App Reviews

Awkward interactions and slow confirmation kill the experience

It looks nice, scrolls quick. Getting in and out of text vs picture posts requires different actions. Voting buttons shown when you cant use them. Swiping to close is too sensitive and you end up scrolling pages instead of closing the image view. Voting requires 2 full seconds from action to when the app lets you scroll again, painfully slow. Built in browser breaks the web page link viewing experience on the phone.

Almost there

This may actually be the perfect Reddit client for iOS. But, if your even somewhat of a lurker like me, you may find a couple of things that you just cant live with: No option to show the parent comment. You cant even jump to it with a show context hack. The comment threads use nested boxes to a degree that a thread can get ugly quick. If neither of these bothers you, then go for it. Its a five star app. Personally, Im holding one star hostage.

Please fix comment readability

This app is fantastic. Better than browsing mobile. It has easy to learn swipe-y swipes but one major downfall... You cant minimize the comment thread as you read. Which is almost a deal breaker. Please please fix it. Thanks for the good app!

Way better than alienpue

Crashes infrequently but has great UI and nice full picture scrolls

Just missing one thing

I frequent sports sub Reddits and would like to be able to see flairs of supporters

Doesnt add up

The UI looks slick but its actually pretty confusing to use.

it just goes blank

As im reading some of the stories just go blank and i have to reload it until it does again.

Major battery drainer

This is the best reddit app out there as far as features go. But what good does that do if it kills my iPhone in 2 hours. This app will consistently use 45% of my apps battery per hour. I didnt realize this until I took my phone to the Apple Store because my phone was dying several times a day from a full charge. The apple tech said this app was the source of the problem and to delete it immediately unless I wanted to keep my phone plugged up 24 hrs a day. Before deleting it I monitored my battery usage myself and found the same thing. Guess all the great features of this app come with a price. So long redditor app.

Love it!

Love the color scheme options, ability for large images in listings. Swiping down to close an opened image is awesome. Also seems to be quicker than others. Definitely my favorite, better than alien blue and baconreader

Good app, but buggier with every release

I love this app and its the main way I access reddit, but every release introduces new bugs. You fixed some, but in this release many imgur links suddenly open as web pages or not at all. Changing any settings makes me lose the place I was at. Keeps becoming a not-so-OK app.

Efficient way to browse

The "readability" default for articles and swiping through image/meme posts just make reading Reddit better. Doesnt take long to figure out how it all works.

Terrible

Links are opened in its own "browser". Ruins any javascript on the page. Interface is wonky

Ehh

Cant figure out how to comment on stuff maybe it isnt even possible with this app but if it was more straight forward it would get a 5

Back button on the right?

You gotta be kidding me. UX FAIL!

This is the best reddit client for iOS but this version is buggy

I have to say I LOVE redditor. Its pretty much the only Reddit client I use. It works very well on the Apple Watch. I use it daily. It usually is a very stable application almost never crashing... Except the version that was released a few days ago. Now the app crashes about every minute or so, its unfortunate but I am sure the very talented developers who created this app will have whatever bug is causing the app to crash squashed within a few days. I hope they keep up the good work.

Cant Comment

Is there really no way to comment? What a joke...

FUNCTIONAL!!

Its an app~ Legit, what am I supposed to say...

Completely not functional

Simple bugs should be caught before an release.

ALMOST perfect

The comment rendering in the app could use some work. My perfect Reddit app would use the structure and image browser and UI of this app but replace the comment page with the comment page Alien Blue has: the conditional buttons and thread collapsing is a must for actually using Reddit.

Fantastic app

Better than every Reddit app on the marketplace. Ive tried them all. Wish I could see the captions on the photos in albums from imgur and the triple tap for parents doesnt work for me but eh. Great app, great functionality, simple to use and easy to figure it out. Keep it up!!
